Job Overview Founded in 1975, Rendosi Constructions has more than 30 years of experience in remediation works. The company has provided the best remedial work services to its clients and has become a leader in the industry. Rendosi Construction is seeking a full-time experienced Floor Finisher to join their dedicated and professional team. Job Location Sydney Responsibilities Measure areas to be covered and consult plans to estimate quantities of floor covering materials required Prepare surfaces for covering and remove baseboard trims Remove existing flooring and discard material, if applicable Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning work surfaces from dust, debris, and obstructions Apply adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials to work surfaces Measure, cut and fix underlay materials Laying coverings such as wood, carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles and other resilient flooring materials, over floors, matching patterns, cutting shapes around fixtures and trimming edges Use tile‑cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes Secure floor coverings and fit edge trims in doorways Sanding, staining and applying finishing coatings to timber floors Complete installation by applying appropriate finishes May install wall, ceiling, counter and bench coverings May lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition Qualifications & Skills At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Good communication skills Good reporting skills Strong attention to detail Be physically fit Self‑motivated, organised, punctual and reliable Must have great work ethics Requirements The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia Be prepared to undergo drug and alcohol testing, a Working with Children Check and a full Police Check Willing to sponsor the right candidate who meets all the criteria mentioned above Salary & Benefits Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super #J-18808-Ljbffr
