The Opportunity MinRes is seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to join our Wodgina Operation on a 8x6 roster. Reporting to the Technical Services Geology Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the Geology team. Ensuring the Geology team always operates in a safe and sustainable manner, whilst effectively driving clean ore delivery, finger builds, ore body reconciliations and models to enable sustainable delivery of the forecast. Key Responsibilities: Provides visible felt leadership, knowledge, and direction for the Geology team to meet business expectations and develop a continuous improvement culture. Provide and drive a safe working environment that complies with site safety systems and relevant legislation. Oversight and management of the dig blocks, ore spotting and blend plans to ensure consistent and clean feed to the plant and quick response to any unplanned deviations Management of ore and waste (PAF/NAF) reconciliation for the operation Manages key relationships with Mine Planning, Mining operations, Processing Metallurgy and Exploration Utilises compliance to plan and reconciliation routines to drive continuous improvement and maximise resource value Drive End of month reporting process improvements Enables an environment where diversity of thought is welcomed and people are encouraged to speak up. Identifies, builds, and develops talent and capability, including succession of planning for key positions. Your Experience and Skills: Degree in Geology, Geoscience or relevant discipline Demonstrated extensive experience working within a production or exploration environment Track record of leading and engaging a team to safely deliver outcomes that consistently meet or exceed targets Highly proficient in Ore pro, Surpac + GCX Or Vulcan Software Acquire or similar database management software experience Experience planning, designing and executing RCGC programs Strong QA/QC reporting skills About Wodgina The Wodgina lithium is a world class hard rock lithium asset, located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
