This role leads a multidisciplinary team, manages resources to achieve service delivery targets, and contributes to planning and performance across the Mental Health Service. As the Community Team Manager, you will: Act as a key interface between senior managers and frontline staff, ensuring strong two-way communication. Lead and support your team using evidence-based practice to achieve high-quality mental health outcomes. Coordinate performance management, provide feedback and build staff capability. Manage conflict constructively and foster a respectful, cohesive workplace culture. Lead operational planning and implement strategies to achieve KPIs and service priorities. Manage resources effectively to meet budget and service delivery targets. Oversee recruitment, induction, professional development and staff performance processes. About You You are an experienced and motivated mental health professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams and improving outcomes for consumers and their families. You hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology (or working towards Clinical Masters), Nursing, Social Work, or Counselling with eligibility for relevant professional registration/association. Eligibility to drive in NSW and access to a vehicle. You demonstrate confident and collaborative leadership with the ability to build effective, respectful team cultures. You excel at coaching, mentoring and developing staff, particularly through periods of change or service growth. You communicate clearly and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health services and have strong problem-solving skills and can respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges. You can prioritise, delegate and manage competing demands in a dynamic clinical environment. You understand and apply evidence-based practice to support decision-making and service improvement. You are results-focused, with a proven ability to meet KPIs and deliver outcomes within defined resources. Why HNELHD?
