We provide services to both inpatients and outpatients, performing the full range of clinical echocardiographic studies. There are also opportunities to participate in departmental or independent research, making this an excellent environment for professional growth and contribution to advancing cardiac care. What You'll be Doing The position is responsible for providing comprehensive tertiary level specialist cardiac ultrasound service, ensuring high quality of patient care. The position works within a Multi-disciplinary team to provide accurate and high quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services across Liverpool Hospital. Where You'll Be Working Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, offering a wide range of state-wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds. The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation. This redevelopment will expand clinical services, enhance research and teaching facilities, and introduce state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science, Science, Applied Science, or relevant health qualification, Post Graduate Qualification in Cardiac Sonography recognised by ASAR, and Accreditation by the ASAR as a Cardiac Sonographer. Extensive experience in cardiac ultrasound at a tertiary level. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
