Commissioning Manager We currently have an opportunity for a Commissioning Manager to join our Completions and Commissioning team. The role is responsible for managing the commissioning and delivery of mission critical equipment, safe working practices, issue resolution, and facility handover. The primary objective is to lead our Commissioning team to ensure successful commissioning of our data centre sites on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction. What You’ll Do Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to align project commissioning and delivery with project objectives Lead Commissioning team to execute commissioning activities (Level 1 to Level 6) Develop and continually improve/review project‑specific commissioning management/validation documents and procedures Lead project commissioning meetings Develop the Commissioning Program and manage the team to deliver within these timeframes Provide technical commentary and advice on drawings, manuals, and technical submittals Provide technical and consultative advice to clients in determining commissioning and validation requirements, strategies, methodologies, and the streamlining of commissioning activities Document and report on scope changes Provide technical and operational support to both field teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle, promoting proper service levels and customer satisfaction Lead in line with Kapitol’s Vision and Values and be a key part of our continual growth and success About You Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent trade background Experience in leading and coaching a team Prior experience on large, complex building projects within services engineering, consulting, or coordination Strong knowledge of Data Centre commissioning and infrastructure, including electrical, control systems, and facilities operations Ability to solve complex problems and manage through to resolution Sound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction trades Proven experience coordinating subcontractors / consulting engineers Well versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projects Well‑developed planning, program, and stakeholder management skills Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, upskill and build rapport with team members How You’ll Benefit 5‑day work week (exception of Site Managers/Supervisors who work 10 days in 14, with every other Saturday off) Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industry Free health assessments for all staff Paid parental leave for both primary and secondary care givers Fast‑tracked career development opportunities and support through mentoring, workshops and retreats Industry‑leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learned and other resources Kapitol value diversity and aim to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces and respects differences.
