Please contact Giuseppe at This role provides leadership in managing and coordinating technology projects within the T&I Project Delivery Team. The Project Manager ensures the delivery of projects that align with organisational strategy, managing cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality. This role also provides mentorship to business analysts and project coordinators, drives continuous improvement in project delivery practices, and contributes to project-level governance and strategy. Additionally, the Project Manager is responsible for managing interdependencies and risks within projects, ensuring that the projects deliver benefits that align with the organisation's strategic objectives. Project Leadership and Delivery Lead the delivery of a variety of projects with significant organisational visibility and business value. Define and manage success metrics, project goals, and critical milestones in collaboration with sponsors and key stakeholders. Oversee resource planning and allocation for project delivery, ensuring optimal use of internal and external resources. Evaluate trade-offs between scope, time, cost, and quality to maximise project outcomes. Monitor and mitigate project risks proactively, driving resolution of critical issues. Manage, assess, and implement project change management. Manage project budgets to support financial reporting within AAL. Identify opportunities for improvements in project deliveries that align with AAL’s strategic goals and priorities. Deliver projects in alignment with AAL’s Project Management Framework, maintaining rigorous standards of governance and reporting. Ensure smooth transition to Business as Usual (BAU) and new target operating models. Peo ple Leadership and Mentorship Provide leadership to the project team, maximising the project delivery outcomes Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the project delivery team. Strategic Governance and Reporting Align to AAL Project Management Framework governance and controls processes and procedures. Contribute to the development and refinement of project governance processes, templates, and reporting standards. Partner with the Portfolio Manager to identify and implement process improvements that enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare and present executive-level project updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational priorities. Support the integration of project insights into strategic planning and decision-making processes. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, vendors, and partners. Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project goals with business objectives. Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure the successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives. Continuous Improvement Champion the adoption of best practices in project delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Identify opportunities to improve delivery methodologies and frameworks, incorporating lessons learned from prior projects. Lead post-project reviews, ensuring actionable insights are captured and applied to future initiatives. Always Qualifications Essential PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM certification. Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Desirable Advanced certifications such as PgMP (Program Management Professional) or SAFe Agile certifications. Training or certification in leadership development or change management. Experience Essential Leadership and Management : Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget Project Management Methodologies : Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies to effectively manage and deliver complex projects Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of technology stacks, software development life cycles, and IT infrastructure to make informed decisions and guide technical teams Risk Management : Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines Stakeholder Communication : Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders, provide regular updates, and manage expectations Desirable Product Development : Experience in product development and lifecycle management, contributing to the creation and enhancement of technology products Strategic Thinking : Ability to think strategically and align project goals with the overall business objectives Mentoring and Coaching : Experience in mentoring and coaching team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment Budgeting and Forecasting : Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to optimise project costs Emerging Technologies : Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends, such as AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, to drive innovation within projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
