About the role Our Workers Compensation group has a fantastic opportunity for an Associate up to Senior Associate level to join their team in Perth. The team is led by Partners who are ranked by Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers as Leading and Recommended Lawyers. As a member of this high-volume practice, you will work closely with a Partner and other senior lawyers on matters and have the management of files from start to finish. Some of your regular responsibilities in this leading WA workers’ compensation practice will include: Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including letters of advice Preparing court documents for litigated matters Briefing Counsel and preparing matters for trial Attending conferences and hearings including mediations and conciliations Liaising with clients About you You will be an Australian-qualified lawyer with at least 4 years' PAE. We welcome applications from candidates with experience up to Senior Associate level. You are motivated and enthusiastic. You should be passionate about a career in law. You will have strong legal skills and possess the ability to apply your critical thinking. The work requires attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
