Calvary Lutheran Primary School is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Learning and Teaching Leader – Learning Enhancement . Working closely with the Principal and the Learning and Teaching Leadership Team, this position is an integral part of the Calvary leadership team. The successful applicant will: Demonstrate a clear understanding of, and commitment to, the Christian foundation and Lutheran ethos of the school. Lead the school-wide implementation of evidence-based literacy and numeracy programs. Drive data-informed practices to improve student learning outcomes. Support teachers in differentiation, curriculum modification, and the development and review of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). Collaborate with the Learning and Teaching Team to design and deliver high-quality professional learning. Implement effective systems to monitor student progress and maintain accurate records for NCCD reporting. Identify students requiring intervention and oversee appropriate programs and plans. Partner with parents and caregivers to support student learning, engagement, and transitions. Assist with enrolment processes, providing insights into student needs and potential supports. Oversee the Little Learners kindergarten-to-school transition program. Coordinate Allied Health professionals and external agencies to strengthen student support programs. Provide strategic direction for inclusive education and best practice in learning enhancement. Teach and support students with identified learning needs. Model effective leadership and contribute to the collaborative and supportive culture of the school. Plan, lead, and evaluate professional learning initiatives for staff. Offer constructive and regular feedback to teachers to enhance teaching and learning practices. Demonstrate professional growth through self-reflection and feedback-seeking. Manage the organisational and administrative requirements of the role effectively, maintaining a positive approach in a dynamic school environment.
