Individuals with experience working within the technology industry or consumer goods space are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on commercial transactions to support business objectives for large Australian or multinational companies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, such as finance and procurement, to align legal strategies with business goals. Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry trends, particularly within the technology and consumer goods sectors, to effectively advise clients. Assist in managing risks associated with commercial operations by identifying potential legal issues and proposing solutions to mitigate them. Qualifications A Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution, with current admission to practice law in Australia. Three to eight years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, preferably within large Australian or multinational companies. Familiarity with contracts such as service agreements, IP licensing agreements, software as a service agreements, supply and procurement agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Demonstrated experience or specialization in the technology or consumer goods sectors is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
