About the Role We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to lead metal detection and chemical analysis processes, optimize recycling technologies, and guide our production team in our industrial facility. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced analysis of metals in e-waste using XRF, ICP-OES and related technologies. Work hands‑on in an industrial warehouse environment, supporting equipment setup, troubleshooting, and process validation. Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth integration of R&D outcomes into production. Chemical Laboratory Testing Chemical Laboratory setup Conduct wet chemistry analysis, and quantitative testing. Innovate and improve chemical processes for metal recovery. Process Development & Optimization Develop and refine production SOP for accurate sorting and purity assessment. Lead R&D projects to enhance efficiency and sustainability of recycling operations. Leadership & Team Management Supervise and guide a small production team to ensure safe and efficient operations. Train staff on SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards. Allocate tasks and monitor performance to meet production targets. Compliance & Safety Ensure all activities comply with HSE standards and environmental regulations. Maintain a strong safety culture across laboratory and warehouse operations. Qualifications/Skills/Experience Minimum Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years in metal analysis, materials testing, or related industrial work. Proficiency in XRF, ICP and other analytical techniques. Knowledge of metal recovery and separation processes. Proven ability to lead and train a small technical or production team. Comfortable working in warehouse and industrial environments. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
