Youth Camp and Activity Day Supports (Sydney, NSW) Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation – Penrith NSW Volunteers actively engage with and support young people during AKKF programs as we undertake a variety of exciting activities such as kayaking, go’kitting, laser tag, zoo visits, art workshops, circus arts and more. The activity days (single day) and weekend camps focus on social engagement and are structured around activities. We also conduct mental‑health chat groups to increase understanding of mental illness and reduce stigma. As an AKKF volunteer you will: Support programs on a weekly basis, at least once per month Use the smart‑phone app to sign up for the activities you are interested in Facilitate social and sporting activities for young participants Participate in online induction and training via the app Help create a welcoming and supportive environment during camps and day‑events Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months. Availability required on weekends and Friday evenings. Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Sport & Physical Activity.
