Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Internal Systems Engineer key responsibilities will include:Software management -

Development, integration and performance monitoring of internal software systems to help make design, data management and work execution easier. Develop process pipelines to streamline engineering data management and work order delivery. Contribute to and influence strategy for current, new and emerging technologies to improve system performance and reliability.Multi-disciplinary integration -

Work with suppliers to oversee, improve or implement effective internal manufacturing resource planning systems. In co-ordination with the CTO and team leaders you will be advise on technical strategies for seamless roll-out planning and integration of new technologies and featuresDesign and implement security protocols

and procedures to protect our data and systemsContinuous improvement -

Design and execute user acceptance testingand other verification activities to provide recommendations to the Chief Architect and CTO.Documentation and support -

Document system designs to aid with uptake and roll-out, Troubleshoot and resolvetechnical issues, Provide mentorship, training and support to teams as needed.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have the following:

Qualifications/ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or ICT3+ years experience in a similar development role (Software Engineering) with proven experience leading projects from conception to completion3+ Years of experience in Enterprise System Development, Full Stack Development or Back-End Systems Development3+ Years experience in SQL Database Design or similarExperience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc)Required QualitiesA strong understanding of the Enterprise Software StackOutcome focused with the ability to achieve results within a given time frameAn authoritative understanding of OOP and Functional Programming principlesWell developed problem solving, communication and analytical solution development skillsMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing quality documentationIf this sounds like it’s for you, please click ‘Apply for this job’ and be sure to include your resumé.
