About the Role We are looking for a passionate Mathematics Teacher to inspire students in ATAR and General Mathematics across Years 7–12. Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to foster problem‑solving, critical thinking and real‑world application. Design dynamic, student‑centred learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage analytical thinking and build confidence in mathematics. Prepare and deliver creative lesson plans aligned with the curriculum. Classroom and Specialist Teachers – Responsibilities Use the correct curriculum and syllabus to determine the teaching programme. Be suitably qualified as a Secondary teacher. Develop programmes that stimulate learning, engage students and promote excellence. Produce a teaching programme for each class on a term/semester/yearly time frame and review periodically in accordance with the curriculum and pedagogical direction of the School. Develop assessment tasks according to the requirements of the syllabus. Maintain effective communication with students and parents concerning progress. Develop in students an active and constructive attitude to learning, generating mutual respect between teacher and learner. Critically reflect on teaching strategies and make adjustments accordingly. Present oneself professionally to students, colleagues and parents through manner, communication, dress and conduct. Implement the policies of the School, uphold its ethos and operate to uphold the reputation and good name of the School for the benefit of all. Hold a Bachelor of Education or a degree qualification supported by a Post‑Graduate Diploma of Education. Hold current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia. Hold a current Working with Children Check. Possess appropriate academic qualifications. Ability to work in a co‑operative, team environment. Support the Christian ethos of the School. Teacher Salaries Teacher salaries are 2.5 % above the comparable Department of Education of Western Australia rates.
