Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Engineer
to support the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate located at

Apogee is known for an unwavering dedication to our client's success, a warm and employee-centric work environment, and an enthusiasm to provide the right solution at the right time.What you will be doing:Translate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) user requirements into system requirements which will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deploymentPerform technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designsAssist with processes for drafting project documentation including, SOOs and SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentationsDraft regulatory and statutory documentation to include, but not limited to the SEP and life cycle management planReview Contractor documents and data and providing commentsAssist test teams in the development of test requirements and reviewing test plansReview and analyze technical proposals or modifications for cost, design feasibility and system compatibilitySupport and conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/ schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studiesSupport the evaluation of IMP, IMS, and SEDS engineering cost estimatesAssist in the evaluation of systems test plans such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testingProvide systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipmentWhat you will need:Security Clearance Required: SECRETMust possess one of the following education/experience combinations:
Master's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (15 years preferred), 5 years of which must be in the DoDOR, Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (15 years preferred), 5 years of which must be in the DoDOR, 18 years of directly related experience, (20 years preferred) in lieu of a degree, 8 years of which must be in the DoD
FMS Experience (preferred)Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves.
