Bus transportation is provided to and from West Wyalong at the beginning and end of your shift. This roster is 7:7 (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights), 12 hour shifts. About the Role Join our Mobile Maintenance team as a Fitter, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and servicing our fleet of mining equipment. You’ll work on a 7/7 rotating day and night roster in a supportive and well equipped environment that includes a clean workshop, modern crib room, and fully stocked tool store. Performing servicing, breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance on mobile mining equipment including Liebherr excavators, CAT loaders, trucks, graders, and dozers. Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Evolution Mining’s standards. Participating in fault finding, condition monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating with other trades and maintenance staff to support operational goals. About You You’re a qualified Mechanic (Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology) with: At least 2 years’ experience in mobile equipment maintenance (mining experience desirable). Familiarity with Caterpillar, Liebherr, or Hitachi equipment. Tickets - EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry and CN (Crane Non Slewing) are highly regarded. You bring: A strong safety mindset and commitment to Evolution Mining’s values. The ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive crew culture. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to change. Basic computer skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
