Social Coordinator

Design and deliver social and wellness programs that enhance the lives of older people in the community. We’re now seeking a Social Coordinator to join our Murray Mallee Hills Community Services team on a full time basis, working from our Murray Bridge and Littlehampton offices. In this rewarding role, you’ll work in partnership with community clients to plan and implement wellbeing and social offerings that enhanceindependence and support older people to remain living in their community of choice. A focus on each individual’s choice, strengths, capacity, and goals will influence the program offering. Responsibilities Include: Collaborate with Care Partners to ensure person-centred services are delivered Monitor social and wellness program expenditure and budget results Support staff delivering / assisting with social and wellness programsMonitor social and wellness program expenditure and budget results Essential Criteria: Empathy and understanding of issues for older people, their families, and carers A commitment to supporting older people to remain at home in the community Demonstrated ability to work in a holistic, person centred model of care Able to travel to venues for overseeing social outings / activities Computer literacy An SA Driver's License The following qualifications are highly regarded: Cert IV Leisure and Health, Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Aging Studies and Services.
