High-Quality VR/Non-VR GP Role in Scenic Hobart Eastern Shore A Highly Respected Registrar Teaching Practice with a 33-year history is seeking a full-time or two part-time Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (FRACGP/FACRRM) or an eligible Non-VR GP to join their team. The need is driven by growing patient demand and the retirement of a long-term GP. The practice is located on the picturesque marina waterfront at Bellerive Quay, offering a lifestyle that is hard to match. Strategic & Financial Incentives Patient Base: Immediate access to a pre-existing list of friendly and loyal patients due to a long-term GP retiring, ensuring busy books from the start. DPA Status: This is a desirable DPA-approved location (MM2), allowing doctors on FSP, PEP, and other 3GA programs to fulfil their Fellowship pathway requirements within a prime capital city location. Mixed Billing: Operates a Mixed Billing model with a high billing rate, guaranteeing great earning potential and competitive market rates. Work/Life Balance: Open Monday to Friday (8:30 am–5:00 pm) with no weekend or after-hours required, allowing GPs to take advantage of the superb Hobart lifestyle. Clinic Environment & Support Facilities: Recently refurbished clinic with plenty of natural light, featuring six consulting rooms (all with natural light) and a dedicated treatment room in a modern building. Teaching Status: A highly respected Registrar teaching practice with a cohesive team of seven long-standing GPs. Support Team: Excellent support ratio with four nurses, 11 reception staff, and a Practice Manager, plus a dedicated Nominated GP Lead to support incoming doctors. Collaboration: A collegiate work environment with monthly clinical meetings run by GPs and planned around meeting CPD requirements. Niche Services: Co-located with a Skin Cancer Clinic, offering excellent referral or special interest opportunities. Technology: Innovative practice optimising online bookings, e-scripts, e-referrals, and video telehealth.
