Our client, one of Australia's leading manufacturers of roll‑formed steel building products, has an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Fitters to join their well‑established team on a casual basis located in Maddington. The role will be Monday – Friday for either a 6:00 am – 2:00 pm or an 8:00 am – 4:00 pm shift time on a competitive hourly rate of $55.00 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading). Hourly rate: $55.00 per hour (including casual loading). Responsibilities Provide maintenance and engineering services, equipment reliability, preventative and breakdown maintenance for the Maddington facility. Provide improvements to plant reliability to ensure customer and business needs are met in this 24/5 operation. Meet safety and DIFOTIS targets. Qualifications Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting). 2+ years experience in a fitter position (highly desirable in a manufacturing plant). Experience within steel/metal distribution or manufacturing (desirable). Be available for an immediate start. Have a current National Police Clearance valid within 3 months, or be able to obtain one.
