About the Company PJL is a specialised Underground Hard Rock Asset Maintenance and Supply Company that has been well-established since 2006, with its head office located in Leewood Drive, Orange NSW. PJL supports the mining industry by providing asset hire, maintenance services, labour and project support, mechanical and engineering services along with the manufacture and sale of retail items including ground engaging tools. About the Role You will be working at Newmont’s Cadia Valley Operations mine site which is one of Australia’s largest gold and copper mining operations, located approximately 25 kilometres from Orange in Central West New South Wales. You will be responsible for the shutdown maintenance services (surface fixed plant) and the provision of mobile fleet maintenance labour services. Some Key Accountabilities Execution of shutdown maintenance including validating the work scope, conducting pre-shutdown work, shutdown maintenance mobilisation and execution and post shutdown feedback/reporting Ability to lead a team of Shutdown Area Leads, Supervisors, Shut Down Trades and Trades Assistant personnel and Contractors Ensure effective labour and resource scheduling for all shutdown related activities including mobilisation to site Ability to undertake Lead management and build pipeline of works Projects / Sales / Business Development / Networking skills an advantage What we offer Safety focused culture Work and learn with an experienced team, which has sound long term industry experience Competitive hourly ratesand/or salary to be negotiated Superannuation paid on all hours worked Employer superannuation matching scheme - get up to 18% super Vehicle / Laptop / Phone Local role - be home every night How to apply Please click on the apply button and provide an up-to-date resume.
