Lead Drainage Engineer Responsibilities Design and lead stormwater drainage projects across energy, resources, civic, water, and transport markets. Drive hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using 12D, DRAINS, and other models such as RORB and TUFLOW. Mentor and guide the drainage team. Engage in stormwater drainage design, services coordination, and interdisciplinary coordination across various market sectors. Lead design activities and packages independently while coordinating the work of others. Interact with clients, both internal and external, to grow relationships. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and other professionals across the business. Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities, pursuing new work, and writing proposals. Report to the National Hydrology and Hydraulics Capability Lead, delivering outcomes for state/local governments, resource and energy companies, and tier 1 contractors. Qualifications At least 15 years of experience as a civil/drainage engineer with proven design management and multidisciplinary work. Experience with design and construction projects in Victoria, including MRPV projects and Melbourne Water approvals. Energetic, flexible, and positive attitude. Team player with a 'can‑do' attitude and dedication to high quality work. Technical skills in drainage design across transport, energy, resources, etc., and general civil design work. Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis tools. Currently hold or be eligible for CPEng and/or RPEQ/RPEV.
