Metal Fabricator

Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal components. Operate a variety of metalworking tools and equipment – including MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutters, folders, and guillotines. Fabricate, assemble, and modify components using aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanised steel. Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards and specifications. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace in compliance with safety procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion. About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel to a high standard. Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings. Confident using metal fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, folders, and guillotines. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards. Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software will be highly regarded.
