It is a fantastic opportunity to develop a modern centre and a high performing team. You will:Have a solid knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, Victorian Early Years Framework and the Education and Care National Regulations and ActShowcase strong leadership abilities while supporting the local team of Educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment and engagementPossess great verbal and written communication skills and can provide parents with effective feedback and encourage them to meet with the Room Leader to discuss children’s developmentHave a natural flair in building positive working relationships with stakeholders and driving resultsQualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Early Childhood/Children’s Services or similarFirst Aid & CPR certificationAnaphylaxis and Asthma QualificationsDemonstrated leadership experience that inspires and motivates people across the function to perform to their bestDemonstrated knowledge, skills and understanding in the implementation and ongoing management of the National Quality FrameworkAbout the centreLightning Reef ELC is 115-place centre co-located with primary school and maternal health rooms Working in alignment with YMCA Victoria’s philosophy, our service prides itself on fostering and enhancing children’s learning through play, while also providing our community with high quality care and education.At the Y, we are committed to empowering all Children and Young People to feel safe and be safe.
