About the Role
Teys Australia has a full-time and permanent opportunity for an experienced Enrolled or Registered Nurse to join the Health Centre team based at our Rockhampton processing site in Queensland. This high-volume role will effectively support and work with the operational team and be responsible for the rehabilitation of all its employees.
The successful candidate will be in charge of assessing and facilitating effective return-to-work processes for employees during the night shift, working within industry guidelines and the company's best practices to ensure seamless rehabilitation. You will manage the health centre staff, create and promote services available, and assist in first aid routine, emergency, and non-urgent medical treatment to all employees.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise, build rapport, and coordinate with stakeholders. You will oversee the cost of the Health Centre, ensure compliance is met, and monitor general day-to-day operations.

Provide Alcohol/Drug testing Conduct pre-employment medical assessments Rehabilitation and return to work coordination Participate in providing employees with access to wellness programs General first aid treatment About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse) Possession of current CPR certificate (or willing to obtain/update) Possession of an Occupational First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain) Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Certification (or willing to obtain) Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification (or willing to obtain) The ability to manage the daily functions of a Health Centre Desirable:
Some experience in operation/managing a Health Centre within a manufacturing or sporting environment Knowledge and understanding of WH&S practices in a manufacturing or sporting environment Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordination in a manufacturing or sporting environment Some experience in conducting physical task analysis in a manufacturing or sporting environment What's in it for You
