The Client HealthSave Wynnum West Compounding Pharmacy is a registered pharmacy outlet located in Wynnum West in QLD. The Role We are seeking a full-time Retail Pharmacist to join our team in Wynnum West, QLD. This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $90,000 plus superannuation. Responsibilities Administer prescription medicines to the public. Ensure medicines supplied correspond with prescriptive orders. Avoid dispensing errors. Supervise the preparation of medicines not manufactured by the manufacturer. Maintain a register of specialised drugs for stock control and legal purposes. Sell medicines over the counter. Provide counselling and advice to patients on the treatment of minor ailments. Manage needle and syringe exchange. Monitor blood pressure, cholesterol levels of customers when necessary. Offer diabetes screening exercises. Arrange delivery of prescribed medicines to patients. Supervise, manage and train pharmacy support staff. Participate in budget and financial management. Requirements Successful completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Current registration with AHPRA. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting. At least 4 years of proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems. At least 4 years of experience providing customer service and pharmaceutical counselling. At least 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, monitoring and managing adverse drug reactions. Demonstrated experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to contribute ideas, demonstrate initiative and manage change. Ability to plan and organise self and others to ensure timely completion of tasks and achievement of targets.
