Project Consultant – Corporate Sustainability Join SLR Consulting to apply for the Project Consultant – Corporate Sustainability role and help make sustainability happen. About The Business And The Role SLR is a global environmental consultancy delivering high-impact advice to leading businesses, regulators and governments. As part of our fast-growing Corporate Sustainability Advisory team, you’ll work on real‑world challenges – from climate risk and decarbonisation to strategy and disclosure – across key industries including mining, manufacturing, agribusiness, property and retail. The role is based in Melbourne/Sydney and you’ll work regularly with our wider APAC team in New Zealand, Singapore and China. What You’ll Do Support delivery of sustainability projects for national and multinational clients Conduct research and stakeholder engagement (interviews, surveys, focus groups) Analyse data using Excel and GIS to inform strategy and decision‑making Prepare client‑ready reports and presentations with clear, compelling narratives Assist in proposal development and business development activities Represent SLR at industry events, panels and conferences to grow your network What We’re Looking For A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Engineering); Master’s is a plus Passion and interest in sustainability and responsible business practices Understanding of core concepts of climate science Ideally you have experience or interest in one or more of the following areas: Corporate sustainability strategy development, including targets and implementation plans Research and trend analysis, including corporate benchmarking GHG accounting and development of Scope 1–3 emissions analysis Net‑zero frameworks (e.g., SBTi) Climate risk assessments and scenario analysis Decarbonisation strategy development Reporting frameworks (GRI, ASRS, TCFD, IFRS ISSB) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly Why join SLR?
