Director, Whole-of-Government Contracts

This vacancy is available as a non-ongoing (Temporary up to 12 months, with the possibility of a further 6 month extension). As Director, you will lead the management of multiple WofG arrangements, ensuring contracting frameworks operate effectively and support agency needs. You will also set the strategic direction for an ERP category within the Software Marketplace, driving innovation, best-practice procurement, and strong stakeholder engagement. This is a senior leadership role requiring a dynamic professional with exceptional management capabilities and a proven track record in navigating complex, cross-government environments. Success in this position hinges on fostering collaboration, influencing outcomes, and delivering high-quality results across diverse stakeholders. Please note: This role may require interstate travel from time to time. Lead and inspire a high-performing team by providing strategic direction, coaching, and mentoring to drive digital transformation across government. Align priorities with the DTA’s strategic objectives, champion innovation, and deliver initiatives that create long-term value. Engage and influence senior stakeholders and industry partners to promote best-practice procurement and achieve Whole-of-Government outcomes. Deliver complex projects with impact by managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and successful outcomes in a dynamic environment. Oversee performance and compliance of WofG arrangements and ERP category, managing contracts and risks in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
