Experienced Educator - Cert III or Diploma Kinda-Mindi is approved to receive the Worker Retention Grant Allowance. This provides our staff with an increase in their pay of 10% of the current award rate, increasing to 15% in December 2025. About the Service Kinda-Mindi Early Learning Centres are a small group of services, with locations around Sydney. We cater for children aged 0-6 years of age. As our motto is “To Motivate, To Stimulate, To Challenge”, we are looking for an experienced Educator to join the team within our Norwest Marketown service. Norwest Marketown is a small, 40-place service with two rooms. Parking is available on-site and the service is also close to public transport. About the Role We are looking for an experienced educator with an approved Certificate III or Diploma-level qualification who is passionate and committed to supporting children in environments that motivate, stimulate, and challenge them. The right candidate will be flexible with rostering across opening hours and will work alongside other ECTs, Diploma, and Certificate III educators to facilitate a high‑quality curriculum and school readiness program. A dedicated Educational Leader will support you in curriculum decision‑making, research, and reflective practice. Your key responsibilities will include: Contribute to individual child assessment documentation and curriculum planning. Ensure the health and safety needs of all children are supported. Provide and maintain environments that foster curiosity and encourage exploration and engagement. Demonstrate and promote professional standards, ensuring positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community. Engage in reflective practice and curriculum considerations relating to inclusion and equity within your room and the service as a whole. Advocate for the rights of children and their families. Abide by all service policies and procedures, ensuring high‑quality practices are implemented at all times. Candidates should be dedicated, reliable, and committed to working within our team. Working between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm is helpful, and the role is due to commence ASAP (we are happy to accommodate notice periods). About You Qualification Criteria ACECQA‑approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification. Qualification successfully completed. AND 2+ years of experience. Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate(s) (e.g., 004 or 012). Essential Criteria Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, including National Law & Regulations, National Quality Standard, and Early Years Learning Framework. Passion for developing, planning, and implementing an innovative educational program with a commitment to inclusive early childhood practice and social justice. Deep understanding of child safety and National Child Safe Principles. Commitment to empowering, respecting, and protecting children and young people through the provision of child‑safe environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy – experience using web‑based documentation systems preferred. Current approved Working with Children Check clearance number.
