Key Responsibilities Truck Driving, Deliveries & Trade Market Support Safely pick up and deliver nursery stock using company vehicles Operate automatic Hino trucks with hydraulic rear lifts safely and efficiently Load and unload a mix of trolley‑based and loose plant stock Collaborate with Bundameer’s partnered merchandising companies at trade markets and customer sites Ensure stock presentation aligns with trade market expectations and Bundameer standards Support trade market operations through efficient deliveries, clear communication, and problem‑solving as required Manage delivery schedules in collaboration with the Production Manager and Sales Team Conduct daily pre‑start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness Report incidents, defects, or hazards promptly and comply with all transport and road safety regulations Production & Nursery Operations Work alongside the Production Team on potting, spacing, and maintaining nursery stock Assist with production‑style potting runs, including filling pots, planting, labelling, and staging plants Handle stock across a 14 cm to 40 cm size range, maintaining quality and consistency Follow production schedules and quality standards set by the Production Manager Support general nursery operations to ensure efficient workflow Nursery & Yard Stock Management Pick, pack, label, and prepare plant orders for dispatch Maintain plant quality and presentation during handling and transport Organise trolleys, stillages, and shuttle trays Dispatch Systems Assist with efficient truck loading in line with order requirements Help maintain a clean, organised and safe dispatch area in line with OHS standards Assist with basic paperwork and pass customer enquiries to the Sales Team Nursery & Team Support Assist with general nursery duties, including moving stock and maintaining plant areas Safely operate a forklift throughout the nursery as required Safely operate a front wheel loader throughout both Production and Dispatch sheds General Duties Follow safe work procedures and contribute to a strong safety‑first culture Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, merchandising partners, and team members Work independently when required Carry out additional duties as directed by the Production Manager, Dispatch Supervisor, or Management Physical Requirements Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks Able to safely lift and handle loads up to 30‑40 kg using correct manual handling techniques Comfortable bending, carrying, pushing, pulling trolleys Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Willing to perform hands‑on physical work daily Skills & Experience HR Truck Licence (minimum 12 months’ experience preferred) Experience working with trade markets or wholesale environments (nursery, produce, FMCG, landscaping, or similar) preferred but not essential Understanding of trade market presentation and merchandising requirements Strong communication skills when liaising with internal teams and external merchandising partners Reliable, organised, and safety‑focused Good eye for plant quality and presentation Ability to work independently and within a team Basic digital literacy (Microsoft, tablets, phone apps) Licences & Qualifications HR Truck Licence – mandatory Forklift Licence (LF) – preferred Front wheel loader experience – preferred, not essential Nursery, horticulture:or production experience – advantageous but not essential Why Join Bundameer?
