About the Role Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a hands‑on Distribution Supervisor to lead our distribution operations. You’ll play a key role in overseeing yard management, stock control (brick steel, boxing, imports, and consumables), and team performance, ensuring our products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will: Lead and develop a motivated distribution team, fostering a positive and safety‑first culture. Oversee all yard operations, stock control, and logistics coordination to maintain efficient workflows. Ensure safety policies and procedures are always followed. Monitor quality and performance to reduce errors and maintain high standards. Coordinate monthly stocktakes and maintain accurate records. Run daily toolbox talks to communicate safety updates and operational priorities. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment. About you You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a natural leader who enjoys being on the ground with your team and driving operational excellence. You bring: 2+ years in a supervisory role (yard, warehouse, or logistics environment). Proven team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor others. A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail. Current Forklift Licence and confident operational experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships. Tech‑savviness with the ability to use data and systems to improve efficiency.
