Finance Manager

The Company Are you a hands‑on Finance Manager ready to step into a pivotal role within a high‑growth national organisation? This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well‑established Australian manufacturer and distributor currently expanding its international footprint. The Role Based in Perth’s eastern suburbs, you will lead a team of two and take ownership of the full finance function. This includes statutory reporting, compliance, KPI development, and partnering closely with the business to drive performance. You will also interface directly with the global head office on group reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team Manage month‑end, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting Oversee statutory reporting , ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations Liaise with external auditors and tax agents , managing year‑end processes and tax compliance Develop and implement effective KPI frameworks , dashboards, and performance analytics Support strategic decision‑making through insightful financial analysis Drive process improvements, efficiencies, and financial systems enhancements Partner with operational leaders to strengthen cost control and profitability About You We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded finance leader with a strong technical foundation and the ability to operate in a hands‑on capacity. You will ideally bring: CA/CPA qualification Solid technical accounting background, with a strong understanding of IFRS Proven experience in statutory reporting, audit liaison, and tax compliance Experience managing and coaching small teams Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business A continuous improvement mindset and confidence working in a fast‑paced, growing environment Experience within a manufacturing environment is highly favourable (FMCG, distribution, or industrial sectors also considered) What’s on Offer $140k–$160k + super On‑site role in Perth’s eastern suburbs Opportunity to shape and uplift the finance function of a growing national business Exposure to global reporting and international leadership Long‑term career development within a stable, expanding organisation If you’re looking for a role where you can lead, influence, and make a genuine impact, we’d love to hear from you.
