Join Ventia in a role which keeps the Australian Defence Forces wheels turning A great opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Amberley. In this role you will support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for Defence assets. You’ll work closely with the Senior Regional Planner and collaborate with both Ventia and Defence teams to make sure work is planned, resourced and delivered smoothly. Benefits $93,909.00 inclusive of super Work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday (7am – 3:45pm) with an early finish at 12pm every Friday Free onsite gym use Training & Upskilling provided On-site Parking About the role Use the Commonwealth SAP S4/HANA System to plan and manage approved maintenance programs and Work Orders within work groups. Conduct maintenance work planning in line with the fleet maintenance planning directions issued by the Senior Regional Planner. Identify maintenance tasks, parts and resources required. Source parts via internal and external means. Provide feedback to Commonwealth Personnel on the progress of scheduled maintenance programs. Liaise with the Scheduling team to effectively plan maintenance around Commonwealth priorities and planned completion dates. Liaise with the Scheduling team to effect changes in scheduling to meet customer requirements. About you Proven experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, ideally in a trade or industrial setting. A trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar). Familiarity with SAP or similar systems, or a willingness to learn. Strong organisational and communication skills.
