We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Karratha team in a full time role. Applicants must hold a relevant trade qualification and have at least 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician. Duties include: Support the development and refinement of mechanical systems, plant, and equipment designs Produce technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans in line with engineering requirements and project briefs Assemble, install, and modify mechanical components, machinery, controls, and hydraulic systems Select appropriate tools, machinery, and equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely Calculate material quantities, equipment needs, and estimated costs to support project planning and delivery Conduct and oversee testing to assess performance and compliance Gather, interpret, and analyse technical data, completing calculations and preparing supporting diagrams and documentation Coordinate and supervise inspection, servicing, and maintenance activities for mechanical plant and equipment Verify that all designs, installations, and completed works comply with specifications, standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
