Key Responsibilities Interpret and follow plans, take accurate measurements, mark surfaces, and organise work layouts. Prepare walls and floors by removing existing tiles, grout, and adhesive, repairing imperfections, and thoroughly cleaning surfaces. Apply adhesive to prepared areas and position tiles with precision, ensuring correct placement and alignment. Cut and shape tiles using specialised tools to fit edges, corners, and around fixtures such as pipes and fittings. Fill joints with grout, clean surfaces, remove excess grout, and apply waterproofing treatments where required. Install specialised flooring such as granolithic, terrazzo, or patterned mosaics for decorative finishes. Requirements Relevant qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling (AQF Certificate III or equivalent). Proven minimum of 1 year of full-time relevant work experience in residential and commercial projects. Strong knowledge of surface preparation, tile cutting, installation, grouting, and waterproofing techniques. Physically fit and safety-conscious, able to work efficiently in varied conditions.
