As per EBA. Required Documents: Resume, cover letter, all relevant qualifications. Contact: Dr Annie Chiu. About Mercy Palliative Care Mercy Palliative Care is a 24-hour community-based palliative care service providing in-home care to patients of all ages with life-limiting illnesses.
The service covers the North and West Metropolitan region of Melbourne, including seven municipalities: Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Melton, Moonee Valley, Hobsons Bay and Wyndham. It also includes a Specialist Palliative Care Consultative Service and operates a 12-bed Inpatient Palliative Care Unit at Werribee Mercy Hospital. The multidisciplinary team delivers holistic, compassionate care, focusing on physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred palliative care, manage symptom control, support patients and families, collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, and ensure seamless care across community, hospital consultative, and inpatient settings. What you’ll bring Excellent clinical, time‑management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care and management. The ability to nurture respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
