Lucas TCS have been awarded another wall raise of a Magnetite Tailings Storage Facility, located at South Middleback Ranges (SMR), approximately 60km from Whyalla, SA. Scope of works includes a 3m height extension to the existing SMR TSF embankments and central decant causeway, and construction of reinforcing buttress. Construction works are commencing early August and we are looking to supplement the existing work crew with additional plant and people. Ideally, we seek multi‑skilled operators who can work across a number of machines, and also be willing to carry out labouring activities from time to time, specifically: Excavator GPS Grader GPS 777 Dump Truck & ADT Dump Truck You will also have Construction Industry White Card (not online training) Unrestricted HR Licence Strong safety commitment Good team worker and pride in your work An industry standard medical forms part of the recruitment process. Candidates must be fit for work and able to perform the inherent requirements of the role. The working roster is 14 days, 7 days off. 11.5 hours per day. Nightshift may be required as the project progresses. This project is FIFO from Adelaide, point of departure is Adelaide Airport. FIFO applicable to Adelaide residents only. Consideration may be given to applicants who reside in regional SA, within reasonable distance to Whyalla, to DIDO each swing. Travel and accommodation will be provided and paid for by the company to those working away from home with a $46 Per day Living Away from Home allowance payable to those who will not return home. Applicants in the Whyalla area are encouraged to apply. Daily bus transport will be provided between Whyalla and site. Interstate applicants cannot be considered.
