Overview Casual Aquatic Roles: Coaching/Teaching/Lifeguarding - Expressions of Interest at Presbyterian Ladies' College - Melbourne. PLC invites expressions of interest from candidates with qualifications and experience in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety. We are also interested to hear from candidates who are Lifeguard trained. Opportunities are casual with morning and afternoon/evening shifts, spread across Monday to Saturday. The PLC Aquatic Centre is committed to providing educational programs that aim to develop lifelong swimming, water safety and fitness skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment. About PLC PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person, including an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs. The Role Expressions of interest from candidates with qualifications and experience in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety. We are also interested to hear from candidates who are Lifeguard trained. Responsibilities / Requirements Teach Learn to Swim and water safety skills to children across age groups. Prioritize safety and adherence to water safety guidelines. Be part of the Aquatics team in a welcoming, professional environment. Hold and maintain the following certificates: current AUSTSWIM/SAT (Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety), First Aid/Perform CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management. Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) for Employees. Commit to PLC's Child Safe Standards and inclusive workplace culture. About You Relevant qualifications, experience and a passion for teaching swimming and water safety to children. Ability to understand and support children at different ages and stages. Strong teamwork, reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
