I am looking for an In-House Legal Counsel for a leading biopharmaceutical company in Melbourne. The person we are looking for will have experience working at an Associate / Junior SA level in a 1st tier/mid-tier law firm or a similar In-House Legal Counsel /Junior SLC in a small-mid cap company in a health-related industry. My client is a global biopharmaceutical company focusing on developing and commercialising treatments for patients with various disorders as well as providing healthcare solutions for the general population. The role includes (but is not limited to); Facilitating corporate objectives and supporting strategy; Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements; Overseeing compliance and manage risk including disputes and cross border litigation; Working closely with the business to identify opportunities and Manage and maintain companies’ intellectual property portfolio The person we are looking for will have strong proficiency in contract law, have a flexible approach to scope of work across multiple countries and time zones and preferable have experience or knowledge with European and USA laws A collaborative culture, high performing team, flexible working arrangements and generous salary package subject to experience and performance.
