Our clients come to us when it’s important to handle complexity, drive diversity, offer strategic and long-term value, and to create innovative and sustainable solutions.Lendlease ACT are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team and support the delivery of a major project in Canberra.As a Contracts Administrator with Lendlease, you will be responsible for the procurement of major trade packages, administration of subcontracts, assessing variations, and claims, as well as managing monthly forecasting, budget, and cost reporting, while fostering strong relationships with client’s, subcontractors, and suppliers.**Key Duties and Responsibilities:*** Assist with cost and contractual matters to ensure project costs, revenues, claims, variations, and supplier agreements are properly managed.* Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.* Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of both head and sub-contracts.* Assist with procurement of major trade packages.* Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements for your designated subcontracts.* Undertake monthly progress claim reporting, and presentations to internal stakeholders.* Manage project finalisation activities including financial and defects close out, and completion documentation.**To be successful, you will need:*** Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Construction industry, ideally working for a main contractor, with experience on commercial, and/or residential projects.* Experience managing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance, and dealing with subcontractors.* Understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts.* Experience being involved in procurement and tender processes.* Financial knowledge to help manage budgets and monitor costs.**Benefits of working at Lendlease:*** Health & Well-being program, including well-being leave to relax and recharge, health assessments, and gym/exercise discounts* Balance your career and personal life with work flexibility, purchase additional annual leave and extensive family support benefits. * 26 weeks paid parental leave for both parents* 3x extra Wellbeing days per year (on top of annual leave)* Large pipeline of project work for career development and growth opportunities* Bonus scheme, Employee Share Acquisition program and options for salary sacrificingIf you feel this position is suited to your skills, experience, and career aspirations, please apply on the link now or reach out to Ben Gisik in the recruitment team for a confidential discussion on today.At Lendlease we offer workplaces that unite diverse minds; where respect, equitable treatment and equitable opportunity are just the norm.
