Who are we looking for? An opportunity is available for a senior front-end insurance lawyer to commence ASAP. This role will suit an experienced lawyer comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, with exposure to financial services and complex stakeholder management. The successful candidate will advise across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Procurement and outsourcing arrangements (including IT) Distribution agreements Consultancy agreements Sponsorship agreements and community partnerships Reviewing marketing material and other public-facing communications to ensure legal and regulatory compliance Capital transactions Solvent wind-ups Advising on intellectual property matters and competition and consumer protection law issues To join us, you will: Admitted Australian lawyer, operating at a senior level Strong corporate / commercial legal background Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements Previous experience in private practice and/or within the financial services industry (highly regarded) Sound understanding of corporate law, IP, and competition and consumer protection frameworks Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders Practical, commercially minded approach to legal advice What sets us apart?
