Acero Construction is a commercial and residential building construction company with a combination of many fields of expertise in building and associated works. Acero Construction specializes in the construction of new commercial and residential homes building using steel frame and concrete construction. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist/ Admin Assistant, who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and learning new things on the go, for our NEW corporate office located in Wattleup. The Receptionist is our key contact person for people attending and phoning any of Acero Construction offices, is responsible for the provision of high‑quality service and is required to perform various tasks such as greeting clients, organising files, answering phones, and providing clerical support and administrative duties. You would be required to display a high level of professionalism, while interacting with the internal and external stakeholders and when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and documentation. The Receptionist also assists with calendar management and fielding enquiries. The role is required to develop a high level of understanding of the operations, its key stakeholders both within and outside the company to be able to appropriately direct enquiries. Duties & responsibilities: Greet and welcome visitors, answering enquiries and providing information Answer and direct incoming calls appropriately, and respond to incoming email queries Prepare and organise meetings, ensuring they are ready with refreshments and tidied up after meetings Stock office and tearoom supplies Deal with simple client queries – e.g. re‑print an invoice or statement and provide to client Deal with simple creditor queries – finding out when payment will be made Take EFT Payments from customers either over the phone or in person and email to accounts for processing Manage office mail and distribute to appropriate personnel Contact clients to chase up payments General office admin – scanning and filing Support the operations and adhoc requests from Directors team with administrative tasks as needed The successful applicant must have: Strong multi‑tasking ability and time‑management skills The ability to work under pressure with limited supervision Australian work rights are required for this position The ideal candidate will preferably, though not necessarily, possess the following: Prior experience in reception and basic administration Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications This is a full‑time position, with working hours from 8:00am – 4:30pm aligning with regular business operating hours.
