Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator (Afternoon Shift 1pm-9pm) Location: Chelsea Heights, VIC About Us Temptation Bakeries is a family-owned business of over 40 years. We now have several factories and brands supplying all supermarkets, airlines and food service sectors. Our brands include Temptation Bakeries, Gluten Free Bakehouse, Charlotte's Bakery and Lorrie's Gourmet Pies. We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator to oversee our afternoon shift QA function at our Chelsea Heights location. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing compliance of our Quality Systems to ensure adherence to all relevant food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities GMP Compliance: Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring high standards are maintained. Complaint Management: Assist customer complaint investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Staff Training: Manage and train staff training programs and ensure accurate, up to date training documentation. Auditing: Assist internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Microbiological Program: Management of the microbiological sampling program to ensure product safety. Calibration Program: Manage the equipment calibration program to maintain accuracy and compliance. Continuous Improvement: Drive quality and process improvements to enhance compliance and product consistency. Traceability Program: Ensure full product traceability across the entire production and supply chain. Fishbowl ERP: Oversee the accurate use of Fishbowl ERP software for tracking production and quality processes. Qualifications & Experience Education: Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within the food manufacturing industry. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of SQF, CFMSR, and WSEP standards is highly desirable. Key Skills Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent time management and decision making abilities. High attention to detail in a fast paced FMCG environment. Superior problem solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.
