In this role, you will work directly with enterprise customers to drive strategic impact, improve operational maturity, and enable adoption of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and related technologies. You will partner with clients to assess their IT ecosystems, design optimised roadmaps, and deliver measurable business outcomes through people, process, and technology transformation. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver IT transformation engagements focused on VMware-based private and hybrid cloud environments. Assess customer environments across strategy, operations, architecture, and service management to identify gaps and improvement opportunities . Develop and present roadmaps, recommendations, and business cases to executive stakeholders. Drive operational optimisation across capacity, cost, performance, and workload provisioning. Lead initiatives on automation, tool consolidation, process redesign, and operating model enhancements . Partner with customer executives to ensure alignment between IT outcomes and business priorities . Define KPIs and success measures to track benefits realisation and adoption progress. Act as a trusted advisor by providing thought leadership in IT strategy, cloud adoption, DevSecOps, and service management. Skills & Experience Extensive experience with VMware solutions (architecture, design, and operations). Strong competency in at least four technology domains , such as: High Availability & Disaster Recovery Containerisation & Automation Storage, Networking & Security Monitoring & Reporting Broad experience across IT strategy, architecture, engineering, and operations . Proven track record in leading IT transformation programs and executive stakeholder engagement . Demonstrated leadership roles (practice lead, architecture lead, program lead, or operations lead). Strong presentation and client-facing consulting skills . Qualifications Mandatory : VMware certifications (VCP-VCF Architect, VCP-Admin, VCAP-VCF Architect). Australian Government Security Clearance – NV1 . TOGAF, ITIL, or IT4IT certifications.
