RVO Food & Bakery is a well established company providing sales, installation and service of equipment, to be used for the baking and food industries. RVO is a successful company whose history began over 35 years ago. Based in Kingsgrove Sydney, we provide high quality equipment, to a wide range of companies, and aim to provide a similar level of support. The office/workshop is in Kingsgrove NSW, however, work will take you throughout Sydney and surrounding areas. The role is a Monday to Friday position but you may be required to work on the weekend (occasionally). What we Offer Generous Salary Negotiable Skilled team environment Occasional overtime Opportunity for career development with on the job training Company vehicle, Mobile phone and computer provided Key Responsibilities Attending site and diagnosing and repairing a wide range of bakery equipment Quoting for replacement parts Preparing and evaluating sites for projects and new installations Installing, starting-up and commissioning equipment Assisting clients/operators with the function of equipment Advising clients on service schedules etc Completing preventative maintenance of equipment Follow up on action required after phone conversation or site visit Final assembly and testing of equipment prior to installation Assist in checking operating manuals and recommending any required changes Working with the sales, engineering and manufacturing team regarding field requests and advise of service problems that include any design or manufacturing deficiencies Working with the sales team on service related sales opportunities Promoting good customer relations Ability to work unsupervised and also to be part of a team Required Skills and Qualifications Be a fitter/technician or electrician with relevant experience A background in Bakery and Food equipment desirable not essential Eye for detail and ability to provide high quality workmanship Clear, courteous & professional communication skills Reliable and punctual Motivated Ability to work in a team but operate autonomously; as required Drivers Licence Enjoy building relationships with clients Australian resident and able to work in Australia Application Questions How many years experience do you have as a service technician / Electrical Technician?
