Role: Cater Care seeks to appoint an enthusiastic chef at an Aged Care home in Farrer, a suburb of Canberra with great transport links. We’re looking for a dedicated Trade Qualified Chef to join our team, to deliver exceptional food experiences. Roster: Tuesdays 6am till 2.30pm & Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9am till 5.30pm Responsibilities Preparing & presenting high quality food for our residents Stock ordering, rotation, merchandising & stocktaking Maintaining a clean working environment Ongoing Menu Development & Refinement with a focus on seasonal produce Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude Desired Skills And Experience Previous experience in a similar role with relevant Trade Qualifications Extremely reliable with a warm & friendly energy Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail Adherence to food & general safety practices NSW Food Safety Certificate What We Offer Competitive hourly rate Four day week with two days attracting weekend penalty rates A suite of discounts across major companies Support around further training, licensing and accreditations Who We Are Cater Care is a leading, 100% Australian owned contract catering service provider, operating across multiple sectors (Aged care, Education, Retirement, Retail and Remote services).
