What you'll do As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in connecting talented individuals with leading organisations across multiple industry sectors. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve building strong relationships with both clients and candidates while developing your expertise within your specialist market. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing new talent through innovative channels to guiding candidates through interviews and placements. By collaborating closely with experienced consultants, you will learn best practices in business development, account management, and candidate engagement. Develop new business by proactively connecting with prospective clients, forging long‑term partnerships and maintaining excellent service delivery Identify opportunities for business development through market leads Nurture existing client partnerships by attending meetings, participating in client functions and events, and providing exceptional service Partner with clients on their recruitment needs to offer tailored recruitment solutions and establish long‑term partnerships for ongoing recruitment services Select and match candidates for appropriate positions by phone screening, arranging interviews, briefing candidates thoroughly on roles and clients, and ensuring the best fit for both parties Professionally manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process under the guidance of senior consultants or managers, ensuring all steps are handled with diligence and care Source new candidates through referrals, job boards, and conducting headhunting projects as required Take responsibility for candidate care by maintaining regular communication with active candidates throughout their job‑search journey Maintain databases and CRMs with relevant candidate and client interactions, and keep all relevant compliance including work health and safety checks as required What you bring This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in professional services, sales or recruitment who is looking for long‑term career growth and to kick‑start their career in agency recruitment.
