About the Role We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator – Waste & Materials Handling to join our Primary Processing team on the night shift . This role is critical in keeping production running smoothly by managing waste removal, transporting materials, and supporting daily operations across the site. You’ll ensure waste bins are emptied, materials are moved efficiently, and production areas stay clean and organised — all while operating your forklift safely and professionally. Job Responsibilities Move pallets, waste bins, and materials to designated areas Empty, consolidate, and transport waste and recycling bins throughout the shift Complete pre-start safety and forklift operational checks Follow load-handling and forklift safety procedures at all times Quality & GMP Work in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards Complete required forms, check sheets, and daily documentation Contribute to clean and orderly production areas Safety & OHS Follow all Hazeldenes safety policies and procedures Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and equipment faults promptly Use safe manual-handling techniques and assist in safety improvements Take reasonable care for your own and others’ well-being Production Support Support production teams as required Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and Supervisors Assist with continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives About You You will be a great fit for this role if you are: Willing and able to work the night shift (12:00am – 8:06am, Monday to Friday) Confident operating a forklift with a valid LF licence Safety-conscious and committed to OH&S requirements Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks and manual lifting Bendigo-based or willing to relocate and manage your own transport Holding full Australian work rights Competitive hourly pay Long-term career opportunities Supportive team culture Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Access to discounted company products How to Apply If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment, we’d love to hear from you.
