WHAT YOU WILL DO Design & Development: Theroleblendscreativitywithmechanicalproblem-solvingbybringingnewproductstolife,frominitialconceptandinspirationboardstofinal,refinedpieces. Technical Authority: OwnallCADaspectsrequiredtotransitionnewdesignsintoproduction,focusingonprecisedigitalcraftsmanshipandrigorousengineering. Innovation: Researchanddevelopnewmechanisms,clasps,connections,andsettings. Quality & Compliance: RectifyqualitycontrolissuesandimproveproductsusingCADtools.Documentalldesignstandardsandrulestoensureconsistentqualityacrossallproducts. Project Management: Beresponsibleformanagingandmeetingtimelinesinlinewiththecompanydesigncalendar. Collaboration: Workalongside theCreativeDirector,ProductDirectorandSeniorDesignertocreatecollectionsandnewproductcategories. Asset Management: EnterandtrackalldesignmaterialsorderedandusedbyCADdesigners.Ensuresecurebackupsoffilestoprotectthecompany’svaluableIP. Production Readiness: Createaccuratestylefilesforproductionandguideeachdesignthroughitsfulltechnicalevolution,from3Dprintstofinalcastingrefinements. ABOUT YOU Youareacreativeself-starterwithasharpfocusondetail,exceptionalorganisation,andacollaborativespirit. Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer. Advanced experience (5+ years) in the software programs Matrix and Rhinoceros3D , alongside knowledge of Trello and Google Suite. Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of jewellery construction, materials, and gemstone setting, with the ability to visualise and technically interpret designs. Drive: Extremely efficient and capable of working effectively to deadlines. Communication: Possess fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
