Commercial Analyst – Allens, Sydney Allens is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join the Commercial Management Team in Sydney (or Melbourne). This permanent, full‑time role works in a hybrid environment, typically 60% office and 40% remote. Responsibilities Prepare variance analysis including commentary on performance and key performance indicators. Conduct profitability analysis and provide insights to support future pricing strategies and operational improvements. Assist Commercial Managers with budgeting and forecasting processes. Support the preparation of business cases, Board reports, and Executive Committee presentations. Deliver both regular and ad‑hoc financial analysis for practice groups, offering insights into key business drivers. Position yourself as a trusted advisor to the firm and key stakeholders in both commercial and financial contexts. Actively promote change and innovation within the Firm, drawing upon a range of sources for potential solutions. Your Profile – Skills & Experience Relevant experience in a similar analytical role. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling skills. Strong financial, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience in an analytical role preferred. Strategic thinker with a results‑driven attitude. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment and build relationships. Ability to work autonomously and within a high‑performing team. Qualifications Undergraduate qualification in Commerce / Business or a related field. CPA / CA or equivalent qualifications.
