The Opportunity Booka is recruiting a Procurement and Contract Specialist to support a large-scale ICT program that is modernising core business capabilities in a federal government agency. Sitting in the Vendor Management Office, you’ll be a key part of planning ICT procurements, shaping sourcing approaches and keeping contracts and governance aligned with Commonwealth frameworks. Key responsibilities include: Mix strategic input on sourcing models and Statements of Requirement with hands‑on drafting and quality assurance of procurement documentation. Build capability in a procurement and contracts team focused on high‑quality outputs and Vendor Management Office services. Partner with project teams, corporate areas and vendor partners to keep procurement, contract management and risk assessments on track. Coordinate and support probity briefings, industry briefings and evaluation processes for ICT procurements. Manage procurement and contract‑management administration, including invoicing, correspondence, reporting, records management and vendor management meetings. To be successful in this role, you will need: Demonstrated high‑level knowledge and experience in procurement within a complex program or organisational environment Proven ability to implement procurement and contracting procedures in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and all relevant additional procurement‑related policies and legislation Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication, organisation and administration skills Security Clearance You must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
