Personal Support Worker / Personal Care Assistant – Arcare Reservoir Multiple positions available across a 3‑month fixed term contract. The role supports residents during day shifts (Mon – Fri, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm) and offers maternity leave cover (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun, 3:00 pm – 9:30 pm) through 19/05/2026. Role Summary This role provides personal, social, and emotional care to residents, ensuring their dignity and wellbeing. You will be the primary support for residents’ daily living activities and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality care. Your Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care tasks – showering, dressing, toileting, grooming – maintaining dignity and privacy. Provide mobility support – help residents walk, use mobility aids, or transfer between bed, chair, or wheelchair. Monitor health – observe and report any changes in the resident’s health or behaviour. Meal assistance – support residents with dietary needs and the eating process. Record keeping – accurately document care, observations, and changes in condition on eCase. Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other professionals to coordinate optimal care for residents. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or an equivalent qualification. Adaptable, passionate, and open to learning. Collaborative team player.
